Body

As an actor in popular education, committed to social justice and democracy, and as a federation grounded in the fundamental values of democracy, human dignity, and solidarity, it is our duty to mobilise so that the choices on 30 June and 7 July are informed [source: centres-sociaux]. A centre social disconnected from the societal issues that affect the lives of people in its territory would be unthinkable, as would a centre social that does not support residents in organising community life and living together [source: centres-sociaux]. The role of a centre social is to act for active citizenship and to ensure that citizens find and take their full place in society [source: centres-sociaux].

To this end, we offer resource sheets designed to encourage questioning and discussion, as well as tools to facilitate debate [source: centres-sociaux]. These resources are structured around four axes [source: centres-sociaux]. The first axis concerns our positioning and role as popular education actors, exploring what we can do and say [source: centres-sociaux]. The second axis aims to help understand the stakes of these legislative elections, including the dissolution, the role of deputies, and abstentionism, and to explain how to go and vote [source: centres-sociaux].

The third axis presents testimonies from centres sociaux and European associations that illustrate what the far right in power produces [source: centres-sociaux]. The fourth axis focuses on deciphering far-right ideas and facilitating debate [source: centres-sociaux]. To access these resources, you can contact your local federation directly or reach us via the email address campagne.citoyenne@centres-sociaux.fr [source: centres-sociaux].
